LEGO have asked me to help them celebrate the 30th Birthday of the LEGO miniman. It is with great pride and joy that I present to you this special episode of MeatSpace. “Living in MeatSpace”

This special episode of MeatSpace was created to both help launch the celebrations and to inspire people wanting to tell stories and adventures of their own in the LEGO Universe.

A very special thank you goes out to LEGO for not only making my childhood a joy, allowing my imagination to take flight and allowing me this very special chance to be a part of celebrating the anniversary and birthday of the LEGO minifig, without whom my more than 50 LEGO animations would have never existed, I’d have missed out on a hell of a lot of fun, and my childhood imagination may never have grown so wonderfully.

As part of the celebrations LEGO and Gizmodo are running a contest that will give you the chance to win some of the most awesome LEGO sets in history.

Hey folks, I told you it was going to return, and here it is, finally after what for some of you seems to have been an intolerable 6 month wait, a brand new episode of MeatSpace.
And this is the “old” MeatSpace, not the “gamer news” thing I did for two episodes before I got to swamped to continue. I think I’ll be doing both types of MeatSpace in the future, because I really enjoy making both for different reasons.

And Just to head you off at the pass “when’s the next episode?” The rest of July for me is flat out, so it will probably be early to mid next month… but then again, I may surprise you *shrug* Afterall, this episode was made on the spur of the moment when I purchased POP and got the idea. :)

Kevin and Toby return this time to talk about the new WiiWare games, namely “POP” which was developed by one of my fellow Aussies, Nic, who calls his gaming company “NNOOO”. I can see big things happening for this bloke in the future.

Anyway, you’ve waited long enough, so without further rambling, here’s MeatSpace Episode 7;

This week Kevin addresses accusations of sony and ps3 hate, attempts to sell out and rubbishes Nintendo, Sony AND Microsoft in an attempt to either make everyone happy (and prove he’s not a fanboy) OR piss everyone off at once.

And yes, this was made with recycled animation from last weeks show - give me a break, it’s christmas eve and I’ve better things to do than animate a little plastic guy in a chair…

MeatSpace has taken a new turn, wherein the Toby and Kevin try their hand at Gamer news Vloging.
Fictional characters reporting on real gamer news… makes me smile for some reason.

Let me know what you think of the new angle, I’m thinking the plan is for a weekly show, perhaps with a special now and again on a certain topic, or perhaps game review.

In this, the sixth installment of MeatSpace, Clearly some brain eating - at the very least - is implied.

This episode also marks the end of the six episode contract I had with the good folks at GoodGame. It’s been a Blast. And I’d like to thank the producers for giving me the opportunity .

I do plan to produce more MeatSpace episodes, but for the moment my scedule and to-do list is a little too full to make any promises about exactly when.
Now that the contract is up, I’m not getting paid for producing more episodes, so MeatSpace has to hop down a few rungs on my priority list to make more room for things that do “bring the green” and allow me to continue paying my bills, and keep myself and my lovely woman creature fed and warm.

Thanks for all the support guys and gals :) I’m glad you liked the show. :)
